About Me

Hello everyone! A little about me: I am a full-time respiratory therapist aspiring to become an IT professional, more specifically, a cybersecurity analyst, by completing my bachelor’s program at UAGC, University of Arizona Global Campus. I have been in the healthcare field for six years now and have enjoyed every bit of it. I have always had a great passion for technology, so my decision to go back to school to pursue it was quick and decisive. I have extensive experience with basic applications such as Microsoft 365 and Windows 10 and 11 platforms. Pursuing this career, I aim to one day bridge the gap between my two favorite fields by working for healthcare companies in their IT industry. This course is a great foundation and the right step in my academic journey to becoming a cybersecurity data analyst. I hope to better understand network security, data encryption, and cloud security throughout my educational journey. Scratch Project

 My experience with Scratch was extremely educational and useful. I found it to be a very understandable programming language. Initially, I had some trouble finding the different tabs that would make my sprite move in the direction I wanted. However, once I figured this out, it was really fun to experiment with different possibilities to alter my sprite’s movements and change its color. I have had some experience with basic Python and coding before, and in comparison, I have found Scratch to be user-friendly, making it much less complex for new users.    Grammarly is an AI writing assistant platform available as a plugin for browsers such as Chrome, and it's also accessible as an application to iOS and Android users. I am now more familiar with Grammarly than ever before because I never had a premium account set up, but it has been provided to me by the university, for which I am thankful. Grammarly is a remarkable tool and AI writing assistant that enhances your grammar. It helps you communicate your ideas to others in a more professional manner. The app has numerous capabilities, such as saving documents on its platform, similar to how you would in Microsoft Word.  Its usability is seamless and straightforward. As you compose and write your project or essay, it identifies errors in grammar as you type. You can perform an overall review, accepting the adjustments and advice that the app offers to improve sentences and correct grammatical mistakes.
